Integrated Brazil–Europe Platform for Sustainable Feedstocks & Secondary Raw Materials
Connecting Resources. Creating Circular Value.
An integrated Brazil–Europe platform for sustainable feedstocks and secondary raw materials.
SBS connects industrial origins with international markets through an integrated approach to material sourcing, technical qualification, traceability and commercial development.
The Challenge
Valuable Resources. Fragmented Markets.
Industrial by-products and secondary raw materials represent significant opportunities for the circular economy. However, fragmented supply chains, inconsistent material specifications, complex regulatory requirements and international logistics often prevent these resources from reaching suitable industrial markets.
Fragmented Supply Chains
Industrial residues are generated across multiple locations, often without structured access to international buyers.
Material Qualification
Technical specifications, quality requirements and sustainability criteria create barriers to market access.
Complex International Logistics
Aggregation, transport and commercial financing can limit the viability of secondary material flows.
Underutilised Circular Value
Potentially valuable resources may remain underutilised when suitable industrial markets are difficult to access.
Our role
More Than Commodity Trading
SBS builds durable relationships between producers and buyers, turning underused resources into dependable renewable-fuel inputs.

Originating at Source
SBS develops direct relationships with producers, processors and collectors in Brazil and across its sourcing origins in South America, the Middle East, Malaysia and China.
Feedstock Qualification
Materials are evaluated according to technical specifications, origin, processing history and suitability for European renewable-fuel applications.
Sustainability & Traceability
SBS works to develop supply chains compatible with European sustainability, mass-balance and traceability requirements.
Aggregation
Smaller or fragmented material streams can be consolidated into volumes suitable for international industrial buyers.
Logistics
SBS coordinates the supply chain from origin through storage, export and delivery into European markets.
Commercial & Financial Structuring
SBS develops transactions that align supplier payment requirements, international logistics and European customer terms.

Products
Three Sustainable Product Lines
SBS trades acid oils, esterified acid oils and used cooking oil — processed in Brazil and commercialised globally.
Acid Oils
High-FFA acid oils produced at our processing and treatment unit in Brazil, 100% owned by our Brazilian partner. Available in two grades for biodiesel, renewable diesel and related applications.
Esterified Acid Oils
Esterified fatty acids produced in the same Brazilian unit, converting high-acidity streams into a stabilised feedstock suited to European renewable-fuel production.
Used Cooking Oil (UCO)
UCO purchased from collectors, aggregators and suppliers across South America, the Middle East, Malaysia and China, under a standardised specification that enables consistent international trade.
Refined Oil
Refined oil traded as an industrial raw material. Specification, suitability and applicable regulatory pathways are defined per transaction, based on material characteristics and documentation.
All three product lines are marketed globally to biodiesel, renewable diesel and SAF producers, with a focus on Europe. Feedstock eligibility, sustainability classification and end-use suitability depend on the specific origin, production process, regulatory framework and receiving market.

European Customer
For European renewable-fuel producers, the physical material is only part of the product. Feedstock value increasingly depends on:
- Documented origin
- Technical specification
- Sustainability characteristics
- Mass balance
- Chain of custody
- GHG information
- Regulatory eligibility
SBS aims to integrate these requirements into the supply chain from the beginning.

Finance
Capital That Moves With the Commodity
International feedstock trading can require significant working capital because suppliers may require payment before European buyers settle the final transaction. SBS is building a model in which strategic capital develops the platform while specialised trade-finance facilities increasingly finance individual commodity flows.
Equity builds the platform. Trade finance scales the flows.
Potential financial structures include:
- Inventory finance
- Purchase / pre-export finance
- Letters of credit
- Receivables finance
- Insured trade-credit facilities
- Borrowing-base facilities
